Service Description
From Umenokidaira, the starting point of the trail facing Koshu Kaido (National Route 20), you can climb up the forest road along the stream, and the houses will disappear until you reach Misawa Pass, the junction with Kanagawa Prefecture. Continue along the gently undulating ridge of the Tokyo-Kanagawa border, with Lake Tsukui glimpsing below you, as you make your way to Nakazawayama. After passing through Oodoyama, you cross the Koshu Kaido at Otarumi Pass, and after a short climb you will reach Shiroyama. From the summit of Shiroyama, you can see Lake Sagami, the Tanzawa Mountains, and Mt. Fuji. Shiroyama is where the Tokai Nature Trail intersects. After walking along the well-maintained staircase path and climbing up, you will reach the Omiharashidai observation deck at the summit of Mt. Takao. After passing through the grounds of Yakuoin Temple, where many cultural assets are stored, you will come to a road lined with giant cedar trees. You will then descend the paved main approach in one go, pass Kiyotaki, where the cable car station is located, and arrive at Takaosanguchi Station. Please make reservations by email. *For details, please check the page on information based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
